✅ Step 1: Know If You Need to File
- Earn over LKR 1.8 million per year
- Are self-employed, freelance, or a consultant
- Have rental income or business profits
✅ Step 2: Gather These Documents
- Your NIC or Passport
- Your IRD number
- Salary slips and bank statements
- Business income records (if any)
✅ Step 3: Log in to the IRD e-Services Portal
Visit: eservices.ird.gov.lk, click “Taxpayer Login”, enter your TIN and password, then go to “Tax Return Submission”.
